I'm in Kentucky, but over 600 ft above sea level. Haven't seen any reports of flooding. As bad as when Louisville nearly washed away?

Neither Random Piles nor Moscow Mitch have any interest in Kentucky except during an election.

St. Louis shattered their over 100 year old record with 9 or 10 inches of rain in 24 hours. The old record was 7 inches, they actually got 7.7 of those 9 or 10 inches over a 6 hour period. St. Louis is in all clay soil, it holds water.

Almost 8 inches of rain in 6 hours is simply biblical. In clay it's just got to be terrifying.

The people in these places need to stop voting for climate change deniers, their lives depend on it.
