Oh the irony. I'll debate that fact with anyone.

I hope Republican voters are seeing this too. It's perfectly obvious.

with the President to help the nation recover from a devastating financial blow.....courtesy of 8 years of Bush. But we ARE recovering and that is a fact. The Repubs will try to spin the Jobs Report as gloom and doom but it just is not so. I have heard a couple of reports (Moody Analytics and Becky Quick) and both characterized the report as "GREAT". Well, Moody's guy rephrased it to say it was VERY good. So there, Repubs. Take that.

What I don't quite understand is what I just heard on MSNBC Daily Rundown...that the Repubs are poised to ADD seats in the House. How on earth can that be? With all they have done to obstruct and stall recovery, I do not see how anyone could possibly vote for a Republican. In any office. One bright note. They said Michelle Bachmann is FIGHTING for her seat. Let it be said. Let it be done. Kick her to the curb. Hope we've heard the last from that Crazy Woman! And Joe Walsh is struggling, too. It's a good day!!

because of repugs obstruction, Romney was 47th in job creation while gov of Mass, he was so bipartisan he had vetoed 800 bills.
R-Money will kill Rosevelt new deal, Johnsons medicare. If Obama would have paid as much attention on do nothing congress, as truman did he would not be seen as responsible for this economy. Never mind Big Bird or Romnesia, lay the economy on repug congress.
Now they are saying that the House WILL remain repug and may even gain seats, that is the result of not running against repig congress.

think and act regarding these issues. It's like they are yearning for bad numbers instead of rejoicing. I just don't get it and it really makes me sad how low these people are willing to go to be 'on top.'

Anytime I ever try to argue the fact that we have a House that has gone out of their way to fight President Obama on every issue just because he's a Dem and a black President, I am given the old "Hey, it's funny how when things go wrong, it's Congress's fault, but when things go right, it's all because of Obama."

I just wish people would THINK instead of act like assholes.

completely now. He is a liberal and wants progress fast, but he now recognizes that being despondent when things don't happen fast can lead to worst outcomes. Ed has been a Bear on republicans since republicans took control of Congress, he eats their fucking lunch every day.

28. Private sector growth despite record number of filibusters
Fri Nov 2, 2012, 03:40 PM
Nov 2012

From day one, Republicans called President Obama a Muslim terrorists sympathizer; an apologist who led from behind. They even plotted to undermine his presidency the day of his inauguration, to obstruct they promoted the extreme views of the Tea Party and used a record number of filibusters.

And, just like in the movie 'An officer and a Gentleman', President Obama had Senate Republicans (ie the drill Sergeant) terrorizing him. Obstructing, prodding and yelling in his ear, "You can forget it! You're out!".

Given the circumstances he was handed, what President Obama has accomplished might be called ordinary had he done so with Republican help. But having accomplished what he has in the face of such unprecedented demagoguery, undermining and obstructionism is simply quite extraordinary.
