Next week's Jan. 6 hearing will focus on Trump's ties to domestic extremist groups.

From tomorrow's NY Times:

WASHINGTON — The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol plans to hold a hearing next Tuesday to reveal its findings about the connections between former President Donald J. Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election and the domestic violent extremist groups that helped to organize the siege on Congress.

Huge focus on domestic extremists groups at Capitol. Lots of video and isolation of different individuals associated with groups. Analysis with video of use of flags to alert others of certain "achievements" and of "failures"

Demonstrates with video the overall plan, when and where it failed (Capitol Police and other law enforcement held them back just long enough for Pence, Congress to escape), how they regrouped. It was a series of battles within a war. Goes beyond NYT work.

I appreciate more than ever how valiantly the Capitol Police fought and saved Congress and the country in face of overwhelming odds.
