trump never won...

...a majority vote which means a minority nominated and appointed 3 right-wing political hacks to our Supreme Court who are now removing Rights and forcing Americans to do things with their bodies ...

...I'm not saying anything you haven't heard before but what I am saying is fix the Constitution while we have majority control of the House, Senate and Presidency...(even the manchin's are feeling bad - let's find out how bad)

...if we're going to remain a minority controlled country, stop touting this place as anything special, stop doing anything to prolong it's survival and acknowledge we are no democracy when losers win elections...

...how serious are we about democracy?

...be creative, fix it!

To propose an amendment to the constitution, if not from Congress by a 2/3 vote, but 38 states would need to ratify it either way.

Than majorities in the House and Senate and holding the Presidency to “fix” the Constitution…

Try 67 Senators, 291 House members, and the legislatures of 38 states.

...because its not possible, practically speaking. The very non-representative elements you want to change are the reason it won't get changed. You will not get 38 States to agree to give up the Electoral College or the Senate or whatever other ideas you have.

If it's so hard to correct the corrupt EC, no wonder our children are being slaughtered by the hundreds under the bloody hands of the Republican Terrorists and nothing much seeks to be done about it.

Not very serious.

Even basic stuff, such as the process for amending the Constitution, seems to be a mystery to a lot of people.

The Constitution was written on four sheets of parchment. It’s not a long or difficult read, but few bother.

Having “majority control of the House, Senate and Presidency” is not sufficient for amending the Constitution.
