The death of Reagan-The evil one

Thirty two years ago the most evil vile person was elected to the presidency of our country. He brought with him greed, lying, hate and racism and it was all disguised as a genial old man. This evil one smiled and told stories and many worshiped him but he left a stink that has lasted many years and it all came out in full force with the election of Barack Obama.
Four years ago we elected a man who loves and cares for all Americans regardless of their means or their religion or the sexual orientation. Even when all the hate is directed at him he rises above it. He truly wants everyone to succeed and live a happy life. We may never have seen a man like this before in the white house. I am hoping he changes this country for the better.

I think Chris Christie saw it upfront. I actually think he made Christie a believer and Christie is now questioning his allegiance to Romney.

Mr. Obama please kill the evil one and may that horrible stain that has washed over America be gone forever.

Reelect the president.

Reagan. It is something we real Democrats have found unappealing.

8. I enjoyed the sketch when it first aired. At that time, some pundits were amused, others annoyed.

Some of Reagan's critics felt that it was not humorous to portray Reagan as being brilliant in foreign policy and international commence, let alone as being the the micro-manager of our nation's diplomatic affairs. I regarded the sketch as a harmless farce, but maybe I, as well, should have looked unfavorably upon it.

4. Yes, Reagan was a bad man, but he's not the primary reason for the publicly racist attitudes....

....we're seeing today.

Reagan was just a manifestation of the racist attitudes brought to North America by the first white explorers. Millions of native North, Central, and South American Indians were killed during the establishment and expansion of European colonies going back as far as 1492. African slaves were introduced to North America very shortly after that.

To claim Reagan is the cause of what we're dealing with now is to ignore bringing the first slaves to the American Colonies in the early 1600s, the introduction of slave plantations in the South, the primary reason why we fought a Civil War from 1861-1865, as well as the heavy resistance to the US Civil Rights Act of 1964 and desegregation in the 1960s.

.. but a bit over the top IMHO. Reagan wasn't the kind of evil today's Teapubs are, just a delusional old hypocrite that fooled a lot of people.

You put more stock in Pres. Obama's chances of getting significant things done than I do. I hope you are right. Unfortunately it will come too late for me, even if he does.

raygun really got the anti-union sentiment going in this country. That in itself was super-evil, since the real goal was to weaken the one organized power that opposed the uber-power of the billionaires.

He also committed High Treason at least twice, with Iran-Contra and with plotting to stop the release of the Iran hostages until after Carter was defeated. Note I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here - he probably committed more acts of High Treason.

He got the deficit climbing up up up, all with the long-term goal of eliminating "entitlements".

The list is endless of his evil. His geniality + his super-evil nature makes me think, if there ever really was an Anti-Christ, that he was it.
