Trump-abandoned Mo Brooks retiring after "bad guys won"
Article says he wants to spend more time with his grandkids. So he thinks he will be FREE---But he sure should be brought in for questioning. After all, he wore a bullet proof vest to the Trump rally on Jan 6.
He certainly has nothing good to say about his past buddy Trump!! too bad. https://images.axios.com/x3e3B3zGPsfYF2XDhJCZCgXaP0g=/0x462:6048x3864/1600x900/2022/06/22/1655934764767.jpg?w=1600 Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., walks up the House steps. Photo: Bill Clark/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images Trump-abandoned Mo Brooks retiring after "bad guys won" https://www.axios.com/2022/06/22/trump-mo-brooks-retiring ....................... Driving the news: Brooks' decision comes less than 24 hours after he lost the runoff election to Katie Britt, the former chief of staff to retiring Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.). ....................... .............................. “I'm looking forward to being a normal person. You know, normal people have some fun," he said. Former President Trump previously endorsed Brooks before rescinding it after Brooks told a rally to stop disputing the 2020 election results. Trump later endorsed Britt for the position. Brooks was a strong supporter of Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. He objected to the certification of electoral votes. The big picture: Brooks also took aim at Trump after the runoff election, saying the former president is not a “man of his word" and has “no loyalty." Trump won't do anything unless it “enhances his wallet or his ego," Brooks said, per Politico. “The big loser in the election in Alabama yesterday was Donald Trump," he added.

3. Poor Mo. So now he knows that Trump is not a man of his word, and has no loyalty.
He probably already knew that, but as long as Trump supported him, Brooks was willing to overlook those flaws.
So many Republicans embraced Trump because he helped them get what they wanted. But then, surprise! When what Trump wanted didn't coincide with what they wanted, he dumps them without hesitation. For Trump, loyalty is a one way street, coming to him. |

6. I live about 50 miles north of NYC.
My wife and I are well aware of the lack of honor and integrity that has been the hallmark of Donald Trump's words and actions for decades.
He is the embodiment of the concept of self-serving. |
