I had no idea that there was a debate on FOX between Bernie & Lindsay Graham.
It apparently happened on their streaming service yesterday.
This is interesting on several levels. It shows how Bernie would handle Republicans should he ever be the Dem nominee. It gives Republicans a chance to hear something based in a point of view they rarely hear - reality.
Bernie just left Lindsay Graham stunned. A couple tweets below with embedded video of the debate.
I have no idea why Twitter is labeling the one video as potentially sensitive content.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I found the whole entire debate!!!
It took some deep digging but I found it!

(3,234 posts)The only place I've been able to find the debate is on FOX which sucks but they were the host after all so that's expected. I was hoping FOX would have put it on their YouTube channel but that's a no go. It seems to be only available at where I posted it.

(6,791 posts)Happened during the last 42 years that Republicans have tried, and mostly succeeded, in pulling taxpayer funding from public broadcasting. Your PBS and NPR broadcasting, despite great feats of ass-kissing, is barely hanging on at all. That's why week-long pledge drives happen 4-8 times per year. That's the big reason Judy Woodruff hasn't retired and been replaced by someone with a quicker mind. The mind Judy, herself, once had. That's why both-siderism lives and flourishes on PBS and NPR news programming.

Thank you for posting. Love Bernie!

(8,277 posts)Its like they were talking past each other.
Bernie had his standard topics that were completely different than Grahams.
I had trouble watching it. It is region restricted and my first VPN connection was horrible.
After rebooting, I picked up where I left off and the video froze but I could hear it. One hour in, I was done listening to Lindsay worry about the border and using gas until we all die.
Why werent they discussing the gun violence in the country? Why are these men attacking children? Today a kids camp! This domestic terrorism has to stop!

(1,189 posts)Bernie goes into the belly of the beast and creates havoc. And Graham is a dope.

(3,234 posts)I would have paid to see that.
The town hall's Bernie did in West Virginia, Wisconsin, and another state, I forget which, were called "Bernie In Trump Country" & were wild to watch. He flipped Trump supporters right there on the spot! It was something else.
I found the one town hall from Kenosha, WI where Chris Hayes was the moderator. If you've not watched it, I highly recommend it. The video is literally backwards in display to avoid copyright on YouTube but it's all here. Add it to your YouTube watch list. It's great stuff!

(7,831 posts)Fox News has already propagandized its viewers into being against everything Sanders is for.
Sanders being on their network and basically saying, "yep, I'm everything you say I am!" is basically reinforcing Fox News claims against him and his policies, and, by extension, Democrats and their policies.

Can someone tell me what was the event that brought about this debate? We ought to be having events like this every week and pounding the truth into their pointy little heads!
I cannot imagine that Lindsey had a decent, coherent response to anything that was said, except: socialism, Bengazi, but her emails, and they're coming for your guns.....

(11,791 posts)I can't find it anywhere, but I tend to push the "I Believe" button when Bernie or Liz talk about matters of money.
It's very true.

(7,188 posts)...vs. I think, Dick Armey or Paul Ryan or similar Reich-winger. Don't remember the date or the location (audience sounded neutral, and no one shouted down any speaker.) I heard it on PBS Radio while on a road trip.
It was so good, so good a royal butt-kicking of a Republican, I couldn't get out of the car. So good I worried that I would get out of reception range before it was over and maybe I should pull over right now...?
