Officer Edward's is a hero

There were many hero’s that day. She is clearly one. Injured and back in the fight multiple times. She is a credit to her training, her department, her self. She has much to be proud of. Even when not in the fight, she was trying to help others. My heart broke when she talked of looking at Brian Sicknick, pale from a chemical attack. He was murdered in an insurrection. How the DC Medical Examiner declared his death less than 24 hours later natural causes escapes reality.

Officer Edward’s, you are a HERO. Thank You!

If he had been tasked with that, tox panels would have surely revealed that the chemical sprayed directly in his face was the cause.

Because I use medically-prescribed eye ointments, I can tell you that anything that enters the eyes is in your blood stream within mere seconds.

How many committed suicide in the next month?

I wonder how many still have PTSD. We know that dozens were injured.

Lost consciousness, suffered a heart attack, lucky to be alive. Probably best he went out on a disability. The insurrectionists ruined his career and changed his life. He responded to the capitol to defend democracy.

Natural causes after being involved in an hours long mid evil battle on the west front of the us capitol. He was hit, sprayed with chemicals, documented on film, went from the battle to the hospital where he died the next day, and the ME said, natural causes.

I'm still not sure what chemical he got hit with, but it wasn't pepper spray. There were reports that some in the crowd had bear repellent (Can you imagine how strong something would have to be to stop a 500 pound bear ?) and other chemical sprays. I wouldn't be one bit surprised to learn that someone could even have created their own cocktail of nasty.

Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes a day after he confronted rioters at the Jan. 6 insurrection, the District’s chief medical examiner has ruled.
The ruling, released Monday, will make it difficult for prosecutors to pursue homicide charges in the officer’s death. Two men are accused of assaulting Sicknick by spraying a powerful chemical irritant at him during the siege, but prosecutors have not tied that exposure to Sicknick’s death.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Francisco J. Diaz, the medical examiner, said the autopsy found no evidence the 42-year-old officer suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, which Diaz said would have caused Sicknick’s throat to quickly seize. Diaz also said there was no evidence of internal or external injuries.

Knocked down, gets up and rejoins the fight.. Not just once, either. Rendering aid while continuing to fight and defend.

Off topic a little...I wanted someone to ask the defendants....What did Trump do for you? It was a theme among them...."he has done so much for us and the only thing he asked of me" or something along those lines. I'd like to know what exactly it is they think he has done for them.
