"I'm sure he had his reasons" - Shooter's mom wants us to "not judge" him
Just saw an interview with the shooters mother on CNN. Her comment to the parents of the dead? She hoped the dead kids can forgive her- and Im sure he had his reasons, so please dont judge him.
Theres no way I just heard that.
Found an article for context:
This he must have his reasons is possibly an artifact of patriarchy, imo. When I lived in Texas, the pampering, the molly-coddling of men and adolescent males was TOTAL.
notebook. I also read that she was about to evict the mother because she has a drug problem.
I know the source is sucky, but I don't see anyone else reporting on the grandmother's condition yet.
With the dont judge him/forgive me comments
She must not be in her right mind at present but perhaps she is feeling guilty because she knows what the reasons are
Doesnt look like shes been spending too much time crying lately.
he picked out for the occasion.
Im sure he had his reasons.
I dont know if it sounded as bad in Spanish (this was a translation) but Im sure a lot of people would say stupid things in the same situation with a microphone shoved in their face. Shes trying process how her son could commit such a horrible act. If investigators find she had a direct cause, Ill change my mind, but until then Ill cut her some slack.
He moved in with his grandma because of her drug addiction
That is all
She wanted to cut it off, presumably to punish the kid.
Stepdad said the kid was always antisocial.
Nor will I forgive or excuse him. My belief is that he has faced his final Judgment and I trust in that.
Nobody on Earth can judge him now. Only Lucifer can judge him and condemn him to everlasting justice.
This lady has blinders on the sides, top, bottom, front, and in multiple dimensions.
They fall back on meaningless clichés when under pressure.
I'm going to reserve judgment of HER, for now, because there's no way she's not in the middle of a crisis of grief and guilt. She birthed a psychopath. They're not made; they're born.
