Bill Gates shorting Tesla is looking like the financial move of the century right about now.

IF Bill Gates DID short sell Tesla stock back in April, it appears he's clairvoyant afterall.
Or just a really smart investor ..
🙂

From April 23/24 cnbc
Elon Musk has accused Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates of shorting Tesla.

In a tweet on Friday (April), the Tesla CEO admitted that he asked Gates if he was short-selling shares of the electric carmaker. When investors short a stock, they are betting that the price of the asset will fall.

Umm. Elon...
Bill Gates has been at this a Long Time.
1975
In 1975 Bill Gates and Paul G. Allen, two boyhood friends from Seattle, converted BASIC, a popular mainframe computer programming language, for use on an early personal computer (PC), the Altair. Shortly afterward, Gates and Allen founded Microsoft, deriving the name from the words microcomputer and software.

Elon Musk was 4 yrs old when Bill Gates created Microsoft, at age 19

Gates can do whatever he wants with his money and considering the things Musk said about Gates I wouldn't blames Gates if he had. This isn't the first time Musk's mouth has gotten him in trouble. Gates is a smart guy and we should pay attention. Wonder what Buffet thinks of Musk.

The single dominant electric car company.
Apparently Ford will have something to say about that.

Or if he was developing a way to sell them for significantly less money. Instead he went all in on the driverless technology. Which is interesting but not realistic given our road infestrutrue.

Reducing the price of a Tesla to low to mid-20's (or less) would have been a real game changer.

Tesla shipped more cars in one month that GM and Ford combined all year...

GM and Ford have a LONG way to go... and Ford still can't produce quality cars.

The fancy new Bronco is having problems with the engines dying with less than 5k miles
