The first republican to say nice things to Obama does not mean marriage

Christie acted like a Governor of all of his people as he should and his praise of Obama's help demonstrated that. But, it is far from an endorsement or sudden change in party for Christie. The rarity of praise from the other side may have lulled some here into thinking that he is suddenly a new man intent on changing his evil ways. Nice to hear as it is a rare in the last four years, but not to much to expect after the storm.

He's a right wing, 1% champion, union busting creep but he's not a lunatic the way the baggers are. His words today were for a few things. One, I think he genuinely cares about the people in his state and knows how important it is to get the federal aid. Two, he's sealing his re-election in the state. Three, he knows Romney is going to lose and wants to look moderate as he gears up for 2016. And four, he knows what he's saying in this circumstance is true and he is fairly honest in what he believes.

That's to say that I don't think he lies, I think he tells the truth as he sees it. Whether or not the things he says are actually true is another thing. He's dangerous.

But, I don't think we are even dating yet. I am glad that we have put down the pugil sticks for now, while the nation is in a crisis. I could be wrong, but I am one of the few that doesn't think Christie is going to run for president in 2016.
