Cheers to the BEST Repuke race ever !

Never, ever, have I seen such wild ass shit from the repressed, typically controlled repukes Just
shows how much BushCo and Rove controlled and orchestrated discipline.

Perry forgetting what department he wants to cut..twice

Cain adding some unwanted sex scandal and pretty much admitting to it by quitting

Romney being exposed for a cutthroat greedy scrooge

And, his rivals airing his dirty laundry - DESPITE everyone in the establishment telling them to stop

Trump being shunned

Paul taking a big chunk of the vote.

All boxing themselves into corners: Overturn Roe vs Wade, No gay marriage, Bomb Iran

McCain in a fog..saying "he is sure President Obama will turn things around"

What have I forgotten?

1. The EPIC crash and burn of Bachmann...

From placing first in the Ames straw poll, to finishing at the bottom of the pack during the caucus.

Whenever I see Mrs. Bachmann and her wild trance-like stare I think of Sissy Spacek in the movie Carrie:

"They're all going to laugh at you... They're all going to laugh at you.... They're all going to laugh at you"

Only in this version there's no blood, just Santorum.

Citizens United. It's a stunning display of how destructive (on many different levels) the money problem is to our elections.

3. What are you forgetting? Santorum.

"Santorum". Printed on a sweater vest. nuff said.

No, I admit: its a good race. Republicans present themselves as this giant black unified bloc, but with the spotlight on them, all kinds of differences begin to manifest. Ron Paul clearly values civil liberties more than others. Newt is more pro-science than the evangelical candidates - Perry and Santorum. I like the light being so bright you can see all these cracks and imperfections in the candidates... And I don't mean that in a bad way, under the bright light Mitt Romney appears to have a soul made of Teflon, and I actually like that less than a more human candidate. To me there is a power in having imperfections, so I enjoy seeing all these things. Its powerful for bridging the gaps between people to see what makes us human.

10. They can't get away with the illusion of the giant unified bloc.

But honestly, NONE of us can get away with as much anymore in this age of voluntary (facebook + cellphones) and involuntary surveillance, and that includes being human. What I'm getting at is a little complex: I'm saying what's bad about the mainstream Republican party is this image controlled unified bloc propaganda construct, rather than their personal feelings about social issues or government. What's bad is this twisted notion of what a human should be; this socially constrained rational economic actor slave complex they conform to. When their leaders are shown to be humans that can't possibly conform to that ideal, the whole dialogue is advanced: It becomes then a conscious conversation about ideals, ideals discussed by imperfect mortals. And that humility makes all the difference.

The worst thing that can come out of this primary or any future elections is the clinging by the populace of fantasy non-human candidates with all the answers, right or left. Real freedom comes from the recognition of the fallibility of all people, and the realization of the extent to which the future is in our own pathetic flawed little hands.

4. You forgot the biggest elephant of all - Newt's ego.

On edit: After Newt's ego bit the hand that feeds, the oligarchs (Bain et al), Rush's ego didn't know whether to "smile, spit, or swallow" so it offered up a most exquisite tap dance instead.

screwing Teddy Roosevelt gave to Taft. That's actually pretty hard to exceed. Brutal.

Now a replay with Ru Paul playing TR? That would be amusing. I believe the name domain Bull****Moose.org is available.

That's not democracy. That's just bullshit.
