'Morning Joe blames 'powerful cable news network' for Buffalo massacre'
Video included with Morning Joe segment:
https://www.rawstory.com/morning-joe-fox-news/ If the government can't do something about this, the people need to. We can begin by boycotting advertisers on these cable networks/shows - the only thing they understand is greed. If we lose our democracy, the world is doomed. As Joe Biden would say, "This is not hyperbole."

4. I love Keith Olbermann...
...but I don't know anyone who's alienated more people he's worked with than him. And in his latest bid to get back on the network, he threw Chris Hayes under the bus, which probably annoyed Rachel Maddow, who owes her TV career to Olbermann. He's a no-brainer for "MSNBC Prime", but blew up his chance because he has an ego as big as an elephant. For all the people who don't like the guy, KO is his own worst enemy.

7. He was really good on ESPN, too.
Was there twice, I think. But he’s one of those people who wants to be his own boss. Corporations don’t work like that.
Management tolerated him until it couldn’t. He’s a difficult personality, for sure, but he does have a way with words. |

13. He certainly does
He can be such an effective on screen personality, but apparently he does not like playing by the rules and often goes out of his way to break them.

6. His rants haven't aged well
Nearly all of his predictions about Trump & Co. have failed to materialize. They felt good when we first heard them but now they seem like misses.
His ego is certainly his biggest enemy as he's consistently had problems with his co-workers. Still, I like to hear what he has to say! |

20. Funny how other networks tolerate some of the biggest assholes on the air,
yet Olbermann is constantly taken to task for his "ego"?
He speaks unfiltered opinions about the right and that seems to ruffle some corporate feathers. |

28. I can relate to this
Way long ago, I used to watch Olbermann's show. Then his bombastic style started grating on me. When word leaked out about his temper tantrums, it completely soured me on him.
Now, he comes across to me as a version of Bill O'Reilly for another political tribe. |

And EVERYONE who has cable that carries that network HAS to pay for it. You cannot opt out.
What a fucking scam. ![]() |

pay a Fox fee. I hope not. You have to opt into every channel you use.

16. university of syracuse rents its black athletes to 6 x-limbaugh republican radio stations
to help get them elected, excuse racism, sell white supremacy and now fight gun reform again….
here's a contact page for syracuse uni https://diversity.syr.edu/contact/ with contacts for groups that might want to pressure their university - i doubt contacting admin or athletics from outside would get anywhere to destroy fox, destroy rw radio, a much more vulnerable and valuable target. as soon as the uni is forced to discuss this absurdity in public advertisers will head for the hills, other schools, will have to follow, and it won't be long before the ad industry will have to break up the rw monopoly wouldn’t be surprised if there were a couple of those stations blasting conklin, where this guy was from from fakenewsradio.org NEW YORK 7 Syracuse 6, Army 1, listed with 86 other universities supporting 260 x-limbaugh stations |

21. Excellent Call to Action, dear media activist friend.
Right wing radio/media to my mind has been the root cause of the destruction of our civil decency which comes from the respect and adherence to democratic governance. (small d)
I've always understood the direct link, but in earlier years it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears (until recently) among my fellow Democratic Party leaders and voters. It's a very challenging, but very critical cause. ![]() ![]() |

27. 1500 coordinated radio stations. fox is a symptom off ignoring it for 30 years
if the cons would pay $1000 for a one hr radio infomercial, 1200 stations x 15 hrs/day is worth $90M/week and about $5B/year FREE! to them.
and it would be easy to destroy, see above |
