Georgia election official allowed conspiracist to breach voting system in search of "fraud": reportA former Georgia county elections supervisor opened her offices to an election-denying businessman shortly after the 2020 presidential election, granting access to voting equipment that election-deniers claim was vital to rigging the election, according to a Washington Post report. Misty Hampton told the Post that she cannot remember when the walkthrough took place or what was done during the visit but recalled giving access to Scott Hall, the owner of a Georgia bail bond business. "I'm not a babysitter," she reportedly said of her past role in the Coffee County office. In an interview with Post, Hampton said that she was unaware that the visit might contravene the state's guidance barring voting equipment from being released to the public. ..........(more) https://www.salon.com/2022/05/13/georgia-official-allowed-conspiracist-to-breach-voting-system-in-search-of-fraud-report/

1. a combination of a stunning level of ignorance and incompetence,
abetted by knowing criminal activity.
Now this IS against the law - and clearly charges should be laid. Raffensperger? |

3. We know of 8 breaches in 5 states,
This was all made possible by DOJ allowing a pro-Trump fake company have access to ballots, voter information, election material and equipment which should have remained in the possession of election officials for 22 months. The Cyber Ninjas violated federal law, Title 52 and nothing was done but a stern letter.

4. "Hampton said that she was unaware that the visit might contravene the state's guidance"
Bullshit. Like she would have let anyone representing a Biden legal challenge unsupervised access to voting equipment?

5. Ignorance is no excuse.
Good luck trying to tell a jury or a judge how letting some rando guy walk in and inspect voting equipment unsupervised. I'm sure she had some training on that, which would not be babysitting, but rather, ensuring election integrity. This woman is unfit to work, well, anywhere a brain is needed.
