President Biden and Congress need to

get in contact with the oil industry to apply pressure regarding high prices and even higher profits. They still receive massive subsidies from the government don't they. Drilling permits and leases etc. Gone unchecked they will continue thru summer and Republicans will have a field day pointing that out. Any industry that receives subsidies and is raising prices needlessly should also be reminded it would be a shame if something happened to them.

1. Good luck with that. Oil companies are doing just fine, getting a double dip...

they make record profits while simultaneously making the repub takeover of Congress even more likely and ending the green push for the time being.

3. file some suits.

if they're not going to indict traitors, at least indict some oil companies.
we're tired of waiting for f'ing ANYONE to be held accountable for anything.

4. Good questions.

Seems like a lot of consumer protection type agencies have gone missing too.

5. +1, Per barrel oil price is no higher now than it was in 11 - 14 but gas is up 80 cents avg while

... fuel consumption is down relative to previous years.
