Let's see how much Republicans like this "Unborn Life"-bill:.

- Pregnant employed women get 6 months of paid vacation before birth and 6 months of paid vacation after birth. It's illegal for the employer to terminate/alter her contract, job-position or job-duties during this time without her permission.

- Pre-natal care is free. The financial costs of giving birth are free. The costs are covered 50% by the state and 50% by the US government.

- Orphanages will receive additional funding in accordance with federal regulations. The costs will be covered 50% by the state and 50% by the US government. There will be no religious exemptions whatsoever to these regulations.

- Adoption-services receive additional funding in accordance with federal regulations. The costs will be covered 50% by the state and 50% by the US government. There will be no religious exemptions whatsoever to these regulations.

- An unmarried mother is automatically and legally entitled to financial support from the father. The payment is calculated as a percentage of his wage plus a percentage of her wage. If the resulting amount is below a certain federal minimum, it's rounded up to that minimum. If the father is unable to pay in full, the remaining costs are covered by the state.

- Medical and healthcare-supplies that prevent unwanted pregnancies are available for free. Pharmacies must provide them on-demand, no religious exemptions. The costs are covered 50% by the state and 50% by the US government.

- Sex-education is mandatory. There will be no religious exemptions. The content will be provided by a federal panel of healthcare professionals, psychological professionals and teachers. 10 years of proven expertise in one of these fields is mandatory in order to become a member of this panel.

- The woman and the unborn child are both individually and separately entitled to medical care from the state. If a woman dies from an ectopic pregnancy, the highest-ranking healthcare-official of the state shall be charged with manslaughter. If the child is born disabled, the state will cover any and all healthcare-related costs for the rest of this child's life.

3. Add one more

All Republicans and anti-abortion Christians will be added to a list. Any woman who does not wish to keep a child she was forced to give birth to may surrender it, and a person on this list will be selected at random and required to adopt and raise the child at least until September 30 of the year the child graduates high school. The adoptive parents may not seek out public assistance because accepting aid they've been against anyone else getting would just be so...un-Republican.

If the child was conceived through rape and the rapist demands parental rights, the adoptive parents will be required to take the child to the prison and sit with the rapist in a room full of violent felons for a minimum of four hours per month.

5. If implemented...

These would tremendously change this country for the better. 👍

But can't you just hear the rich, policy-making Republicans screaming now? :

"Give us many people competing for low-paying jobs. Let's keep labor cost low."

8. But none of that covers body autonomy. This just feeds their justification of forced birth.

I agree with the concept for women who want to give birth but why give an inch?

9. That's true. But if you make the states pay for this policy that is at least somewhat just

compensation for the woman. Put your money where your mouth is. Maybe when these states have to start actually taking care of all these women and children financially minds will change. Nothing like a hit to the purse strings to change attitudes

10. Your first point will be used to deny women employment as well as losing jobs they now have.

Employing women will become a handicap for businesses.

We'll return to the days when women were legally denied jobs because the job was considered "too dangerous" for the women or any potential pregnancy she may have while employed.

It used to be the case that women in the military who became pregnant were made to leave military service and give up any career plans they may have had.

It's weird how few people know the history of women and pregnancy in the US (and elsewhere) and how pregnancy is/was used as a control to keep women as chattel property subject to the control and abuse of their "owner" ("the state," father, husband, first born son, oldest male relative, etc.).

Your 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 8th points will result in women becoming "wards of the state." See the Hyde Amendment and the the Mexico City policy on abortion "rights" for women who rely on "the state" for abortion services.

Your 3rd point will ensure adoption becomes "legal" and lucrative for businesses run by the scum of the earth who currently traffic in women and children. See recent articles about the AZ county assessor who was smuggling pregnant women into Utah from the Marshall Islands.

Point 5 results in "dead beat dads" who hide their assets and take lower paying jobs in order to avoid financial responsibility. Look up "dead beat dads" for a blast from the good old days when women had to rely on "the state" for financial support through coercion.

Point 7, again, puts women at the mercy of health care "professionals" who have long histories of lying to girls/women, abusing girls/women, assaulting and raping girls/women, etc. See Olympics doctors for examples of health "professionals'" not so professional behavior.

Until laws are written from the perspective of girls and women, there is not one law that cannot be twisted into making chattel property of girls and women. It's part of our history.

Please read some women's history. Quite the eye-opener.

11. In that case, the state pays for unemployment

until the child reaches the age of 18.

12. There's nothing in there about forcing the Christian right to pay their far share.

They're responsible for this crap.
