CNN Breaking: Michael Corleone dines in The Bronx with Top Cop and Slick Sicilian.

Wolf Blitzer reports that Mr. Corleone was joined at a small family Italian restaurant by NYPD Capt. McCluskey and entrepreneur Virgil Solozzo. While Capt. McCloskey was enjoying the veal and Mr. Sollozzo was having a second glass of wine, Mr. Corleone drew a revolver and shot Mr. Sollozzo once, in the forehead, and Capt. McCloskey twice, first in the neck and then in the forehead.

Mr. Corleone then left the restaurant, leaving the check unpaid.

After Mr. Corleone left, Wolf Blitzer attempted to interview Capt. McCloskey and Mr. Sollozzo about the service and food at the restaurant, without success.

"It is regrettable that these gentlemen did not answer my questions" said Mr. Blitzer. "CNN has a duty to inform the public about these dining establishments, and we cannot do that without the cooperation of these people."

The prognosis for Capt. McCloskey and Mr. Solozzo is too close to call, said CNN's medical experts.
