2. Those in Russia who remember the horrors of WWII are vehemently opposed to war

Thousands suffered, starved and died during the Siege of Leningrad. (Which is now again St. Petersburg, Russians like to change the names of places.)

that no major Russian cities will ever be renamed Putingrad.
