The Rand Poll surveys the same group of people over and over, with one seventh of them surveyed each day on the same day of each week.
Now with results from 3 days since the debate (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), the spread between Obama has widened by 4.02 points. The results as of Monday, the day of the debate, which were reported Tuesday, were Obama: 48.26% to Romney: 46.36 %, an Obama lead of 1.9%. The results as of Thursday, which are being reported today, are Obama: 50.56% to Romney: 44.64%, a lead of 5.92%. That means Obama's lead has risen by 4.02 points after 3 days of results that were reported after the debate!
Plus, it is important to remember that the results as of Thursday, which are being reported today, include only 3 days of the 7 day rolling results being reported after the debate! That means that we still have 4 days of responses after the debate to roll into the 7 day rolling results.
