Has anyone here actually heard Nugent speak? On the show where the were making a band out of him and Sebastian Bach among others, Nugent was always trying to sound more intelligent than he is and it is incredibly grating. Using big words and odd alteration, reminds me of Oswald bates from In Living Color.

I've never liked his music but that was really the last straw, besides his kill it and grill it, what a moron. I'd the to see Mr. badass hunting with his bow and arrow and get eaten by a bear. I can dream, can't I?

the guy is dumber than dirt. Once heard him say that Obama is going to turn the country into "a suburb of Indonesia".

You said it best. He tries to come across in his speaking as intellectual.

Epic fail.

Hank Williams Jr.

Meatloaf
Kid Rock
Lindsay Lohan
Jenna Jameson
Big and Rich (how appropriate is that name?)

Any chance we could see all these fine folks on stage with him at the same time? What a sight that would be. Maybe a jam session, Jenna could do a striptease.

I really don't see how General Colin Powell's endorsement yesterday helps President Obama at all.

By whoring herself out to the young Republican frat boys.

I think Jameson isn't really endorsing. She said "When you're rich, you tend to vote republican". I've seen interviews of her and she has a very dry sense of humor.

So, look for the Nickleback RMoney-Lyin'Ryan endorsement next.

Meatloaf has a great singing voice and Hank Williams Jr. also has a nice warm voice, suitable for country music.

I don't know all that much about Mr. Loaf's political views, but Nugent and Williams Jr. have both said things that are just terrible. They are both either heartless or mentally disturbed. And that really comes as no surprise. The lyrics of the songs they associate themselves with (not sure who wrote what) are sometimes almost as disgusting as the crap they say about the President.

I might have thought "Cat Scratch Fever" was funny when I was a twelve year-old boy, but now I find it misogynist and stupid.(1) And I'm pretty sure if the South would have won, we would not have it made.

I'm not going to stoop to their level by calling these men talentless hacks. All three are pretty good at what they do. They just aren't very good men. (With the possible exception of Mr. Loaf, who might just be a guy who disagrees with me.)

(1) - Full disclosure: I lied. Even when I was 12 I thought that song was stupid. Nice riff though.

Hank Jr. gets paid for a 30 minute set you get 25 minutes of music and a 4:59 minute anti-Obama rant. No encore.

I've always been out of touch with most other people in the South. I remember thinking, "Who is that creepy looking man on those t-shirts the redneck kids are wearing? And what in the world is a Bocephus?"

I'll have to take your word about the crappy live shows, though. I wouldn't want to go see him.

I've seen Willie Nelson, though!
