With the possibility of flooding and/or snow, we could lose a couple of good voting days next week, and we need to build up our early vote counts to make it more difficult for the Republicans to catch up!
GOTV efforts need to push hard between now and Monday!!!

(23,500 posts)A lot of absentee ballots might not get back by Election Day, with this storm certain to cause massive delays in mail delivery.

(978 posts)I never voted early before but may try it this weekend. The storm is supposed to make landfall on Monday. I heard New Jersey is ground zero but that could change.

(71,265 posts)Large amounts(no number was given) have not even been given out because of low staffing at the Board of elections. They claim they will get all of them out, but i do not have confidence in the NYC BOE.

(21,056 posts)I guess people are really just wanting people to early vote if it's possible in their state, to make sure they vote, just in case something happens. Good idea if you have the time to do early voting, but I think this is going to be just gone for most of the US on election day, hoping just in time! HOPING!!
