Fox News aired a 2011 photo of a Japanese convenient store to bash 'bare shelves Biden'

"Fox News Primetime" appeared to have aired a 2011 photo of an empty Japanese convenience store to bash President Joe Biden over inflation.

In its Wednesday segment, the show at one point superimposed an image of Biden over a picture of empty shelves at a store, as can be seen in a clip published by Mediaite.

That photo was actually taken by the Associated Press photographer Shizuo Kambayashi on March 15, 2011, shortly after the nearby Fukushima nuclear plant was destroyed by an earthquake and tsunami.

4. Same here

Was in a Publix yesterday and other than the cream cheese everything was stocked. Have been in a Walmart in the past week and everything stocked. In the past two hours of GMA I have seen at least 4 segments with empty grocery store shelves. Where are these? I think all the news stations adds to the problem.

Watched full measure a couple weeks ago and the rancher's are putting all the blame on high meat prices and shortages of the 4 major meat packers. Rancher's say the packer's are goughing everyone.

2. I haven't noticed any empty shelves since 2020 when you couldn't find TP,

hand sanitizer or Lysol. The first thing I saw on Yahoo this morning empty shelves, who knew?

3. This is the type of propaganda seen in the Soviet Union.

This is right out of the Soviet playbook and mirrors the propaganda feed to the Russian people about the failure of democracy, especially the U.S.

5. Have had no problems here. Really, somehow, Fox News needs to be stopped. This BS about anything

goes with free speech is BS. Hitler would have loved the way the US handles unbridled media, etc. to spread lies with no consequences.

6. Shopped my local market yesterday.

No empty shelves. Some supplies seemed thinner and products not as deep but no stretches of empty shelves.

8. I just did a quick scan of photos...

used by the MSM the past few days in stories related to "empty shelves." I didn't see any that appeared to be supply chain issues. The photos were either of bins where temporary hot/cold items are placed, (i.e., rotisserie chickens, prepared salads, etc.) These "shelves" are normally empty every morning. I also saw some pictures of shelves which were obviously being restocked. This type of propaganda is nuts. But of course FauxNews goes all out and uses a completely bogus photo.
