It's bizarre and evil that this can happen in the US. It's not like it can 't be helped, or we're a poor country with limited resources. We're supposed to be the fucking beacon of the world. Our Statue of Liberty with the message that other countries can give us their weak and downtrodden is nothing but a fucking joke.

In some things I'm really ashamed to be an American. Truth hurts. yet I prefer the truth no matter what .
