3. I would hope we would not do that, but I would also hope we would make a BIG point
of stating that "though the Kentucky Senators are usually the first to deny aid to areas that are hit by disasters, (list times they did it) no Democrat would be as cruel and inhuman, (maybe even throw in that no Democrat would stray so far from Christian teachings, whether they are Christian or not, as the craven Kentucky Senators), and the aid will of course be forthcoming."

7. Congress should set up an aid package and force a vote on it.
Let the Republicans walk their talk.
If they vote against it, use it against them. If they vote for it, trumpet it as a bipartisan effort and thank the Republicans effusively for cooperating and supporting a Democratic bill. |
