(34,195 posts)I had my Moderna booster about one month ago. I woke up at 4 a.m. the next morning with severe lower back pain. Had it for a week. Google told me it was one of the possible Moderna side effects.
A lady on my non-DU forum also had the low back pain after her Moderna booster.
Google suggested one acetaminophen and one Ibuprofen combined, and it helped.
Hope you have no side effects. By the way, I had no problems with my first two Moderna shots.

(2,195 posts)Also got my annual flu shot, so both my arms are a little sore, but I guess I can call it a "good sore" because it means I have less to worry about.

(18,921 posts)Got my flu shot a while back but in both cases, I drank lots of water. I get lab work every 6 months for thyroid n a long time ago, I took advice about drinking water a head of time. Who knows but.. so far so good. Best wishes to my DU friends.. drink lots of water n get jabbed 🤗

(5,798 posts)Slept most of today (because of fatigue) on my "wrong" side (because I forgot how much it made my arm hurt). Still feel like hell--but it's better than the alternative.
