There was no evidence of widespread fraud. "You know that," Margaret Brennan told the senator.

"SNIP......
I absolutely condemned acts of violence, he said of the insurrection. But he went on to say that if his coalition of 11 Senate Republicans who voted against certifying the results had been successful in launching a vote audit, it would have been much better for our democracy.
Because we right now have a substantial chunk of our country that has real doubts about the integrity of the election, he said, attacking Democrats and the media for refusing to acknowledge those doubts which largely only exist because he and other Republicans have stoked them.
OK, senator. There is no evidence of fraud that would have really drawn the outcome of the election into doubt. You know that, Brennan noted before going on to ask Cruz about the 2024 presidential race.
Voter fraud has been persistent from the very first election that has ever occurred, Cruz interrupted her.

HOW ABOUT SOMEONE ACTUALLY CONFRONTS THESE ASSHOLES?
THIS is why I'm not going to waste 1 second watching an interview with this POS.
Until the MSM clearly attacks them for being LYING SACKS OF EXCREMENT, and gets to the heart of the matter, they're going to continue acting like they do, And Getting Away With It!

(31,008 posts)We can think up better questions to ask these people. TV journalists make a lot of money. Are they lazy, are they corrupt, are they restricted by their bosses. I think their job would be a lot more fun for them if they would ask tough questions.

(10,171 posts)Im not from Texas but these assholes are everywhere. All I can think (other than cheating) is rethug voters must be like their candidates; party above all. My oldest brother is like that. He hated TFG but said he just didnt think he could vote for a dem at last election. I didnt ask him how he ended up voting, it would make me sick to my stomach if he did vote for TFG.

(4,190 posts)At least for state elections. As a life-long Texan (Mrs TxGuitar) I do not underestimate the power of the surname Cruz. He plays heavily on his non-existent Hispanic heritage.

This is classic Click Bate. I'm hungry for the real thing, but not desperate to read the opposite.
