I was right here on DU talking about it at the time

They said that using ANY criteria or scenario, Gore would have won.

America lost that election.

I saw both of them at rallies here in Minnesota. Shook Edwards hand and vowed to never wash again...he ended up being a real let down.

If Kerry had won...Edwards would have been VP. He wouldn't have run in the 2008 primaries. He wouldn't have met Rielle Hunter...WOW. It would have changed his whole life!

I didn't intend it that way at all! I was merely thinking what a great statesman Kerry is, and he would have been a terrific president.

He would make a great SoS, too.
