If you're ever tempted to ask a Republican if they're really that stupid, the answer is yes, they are.
If you ever consider asking a Republican if they can possibly stoop any lower, the answer is yes, they can.
If you ever think about asking a Republican if they have lost their morals, their principles, and all sense of patriotism, the answer is yes, they have.
I expected the GOP to take Kyle Rittenhouse's side, and to hope for his acquittal. But praising him as some kind of hero proves - yet again - that these people are bereft of all human decency.
Whether you believe that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense or is a cold-blooded murderer, the fact remains that two people died as a result of his actions - and attaching any heroism to those actions is beyond despicable.

(471 posts)... after these 70 odd years I've learned that asking a rhetorical question to the despicable is never a good idea ...
... what you mean to be an insult is usually interpreted as a challenge...
... the GOP has elevated this bad habit to an art form ...
... I think part of 'our' problem is that we would never dream of such outrageous actions/statements...
... so there's down time before we reply because we are so startled by the madness....
... in some ways I'm okay with this response by 'us' ...
... as I'd hate to part of a group that would even consider the crazy stuff as a viable action --
... and how sad am I to realize I'm now comfortable referring to 'us' and 'them' ....
...............sigh.............
