What did we expect?
Did we expect to all of a sudden, Romney was going to tell the truth? From the very first question, he lied. That's all he does, that's all he's good at, is lying. Romney is an experienced lair. He's lied his way through life. And then he found another liar and picked him to be his VP. Remember, birds of a feather flock together.
Yes, I know, the republican party is the party of lies, but this team of Romney and Ryan are taking it to new heights. They lie about the lies they've told. And then they say when asked about their plan for America, "Trust us".
I really think they're following Joseph Goebbels playbook: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.'
And the majority of Romney's campaign staff are former bush neo-con staffers.
Another Goebbels quote about the press: “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.” But that's for another post.
