If home in their districts or as you say on vacation, they should and most likely already are promoting what the bill does for the country and the district.

Too many times Democrats just get the work done without publicity, while Republicans get publicity for getting nothing done. Hope Joe has a big sign with his name on it at every construction site and PR people traveling the country talking to the media about how the infrastructure bill is helping their community.
