Cant say that members of our own party are respectful of him though.
Just do fucking something at this point. We look like a bunch of idiots who cant fight our way out of a paper bag.

(10,414 posts)Just two.
The rest have been ready and willing to live up to the deal made months ago.

(83,622 posts)You know that, yet will not admit it.

(10,414 posts)spending over eight minutes huddling with Moscow Mitch.
Were there others? Tim Kaine seemed to know what was up, at the end of the video he was clearly not happy with them.
Other than them, everything indicated the votes were there in the House, and all the other Senators would vote for the BBB.

(83,622 posts)Is there a recording you can post from that...so we know what was said...anything? A recording of Tim Kaine to show he was unhappy with them?
According to CNN 20 Progressives may not vote to pass. What evidence do you have that indicates the votes were in the House?

(10,414 posts)Kaine's finger-wagging is at the very end. His body language is clear.
For that matter, so is Moscow Mitch's and the rest of the huddle, which can be seen on the rest of that thread. It's a shame you missed it, it's quite an eye-opener.

(83,622 posts)I watched for a bit, then saw it was an 8 minute clip. I lost interest in waiting for the finger wag.
FoxNewsSucks
(10,414 posts)The entire thread is very informative. If you really only want to see the finger-wagging, the scroll bar can skip over everything else.
I really wish you'd read the thread, watch the clip, and offer a rational explanation for why those two elected Democrats were huddling with the opposing leader, who is known to be a conniving lying scumbag. Since they were clearly chastised afterward by a loyal Democrat, then went on to continue obstructing a good Democratic president's agenda. An agenda which would benefit the whole country, BTW.
I'd like to think there were a rational reason, but I've seen none.

(83,622 posts)One that doesn't have a dialog of what was discussed. I have no love of either of them anymore than I have of those in the house that voted against the Presidents bills. Two get the blame for all of it when there are others doing the same.
It is late and I am done.
FoxNewsSucks
(10,414 posts)it's one of my worst qualities. When you have time though, that thread & video are worth it to examine the interactions.
If those two don't want all the blame, maybe others should speak up. Otherwise, given the coverage, it's assumed they will vote with Pelosi, Shumer & Biden.

(8,276 posts)And every time a deal has been struck such as when the progressive caucus endorsed the 1.75T dollar package, there were always the same two senators who would announce that it does too much and something needs to be taken out of it. It has been gutted in perpetuity for the last 6 months... All the while there have only been two Democrats in the entire caucus who have not committed to voting for BBB. Some progressives have refused to vote for the smaller bill only because they wanted BBB to be passed first because they are worried it was a bait and switch based on the way two senators have been consistent in wanting something taken out of the bill in order to get their support -once that is done, they come around again to say something else needs to be taken out of it. That is not negotiating. That's vandalism.
FoxNewsSucks
(10,414 posts)If only that would get through some thick skulls.

(1,954 posts)I'm on the Progressive side, and if I were Biden watching my various agendas getting gutted time and time again, and held up from within my own party, I'd be calling them out daily, by name. The man's got the patience of a saint.
Glad we have him at the helm, even if "The Party" (Copywrite)(TM) can't unfuck themselves long enough to do a single damn thing.

(16,950 posts)so pass it. This has gotten completely embarrassing and damaging to our party. Pass the bill!
