(2,944 posts)in-depth dive into the "facts" in what I think will be this article. I won't read or believe the article without referencing Seth Abramson's breakdown at the same time.

(19,110 posts)will ever reach the reich-wing media, and it would never be believed if it did.
Most Americans just don't care that fascism already has two feet inside it's door. That was evidenced by Tuesday's election results. After next year's mid-terms, fascism will be sitting in their most comfortable chair, and asking for another beer.

(35,905 posts)When fascism takes over, it won't announce itself, and media's reich wing laziness will pump its treadmill of deflection reporting. But the public can't believe what if it's told the 'target' party has the 'messaging problem'.
But not for nothing, I think the nation's oldest, best sampled, valid & reliable poll, Gallup, reports that a majority of Americans say they're liberal; that most people under 60 are now more liberal and progressive about political issues in spite of, if not because of, reich-wing media. And I take that as an objective measure of Americans caring. So thank the Internet?
They care, imo, because 81 million also showed up last November. They'll likely be sidelined by state houses and their votes nullified in the next two elections, but that won't be their fault; media will have done their part to equivocate.
I dread that you're right because who knows how all the current moving parts will come together in 2022. But I want to believe in Americans somehow yanking democracy back, at least until 2024.
