say to drop BBB? Do you have a link to a quote or news article?

I heard him make comments about the VA election but nothing about BBB. ETA: Specifically house congressional democrats are all working against each other as to NOT pass things like BBB.

I think this will be the biggest pro-child bill that will have been done in the history of this country. It will be to children what Social Security was to seniors. So I’m confident about that, even if some pieces of it are still being negotiated.”

Last month, Senator Kaine joined a letter pushing for the inclusion of both child care and universal pre-K in the Build Back Better bill.

While Kaine said he supports paid family leave and noted some aspects of the $1.75 trillion plan are still being negotiated, he predicted the legislation will be for children what the Social Security Act of 1935 did for the senior citizens.

At least not for the better.

Sure, wealthy folks get wealthier and for them that's better, but other than that, people only suffer. The problem is it takes decades sometimes to recognize the impact of that suffering at a personal level, and by then the Republican healthcare plan went into effect and it's too late.
