I would caution though that the 2010 election was terrible. Granted, none of what the Biden administration is proposing will be the same as that can have the opposite effect of 2010 though.

But the point of the tweet remains that this doesn't mean the end of Biden's agenda or that nothing will get done.

Republicans regaining complete control of Congress as well? Things are definitely trending that way at the moment.

And if it passes it will be old news a year from now anyway. The lead issue next year will likely be inflation and rising fuel/grocery prices, when people get less for their money they blame the party in charge.

Bush and Trump also lost Congress in midterm elections. Our biggest thing to overcome next year will be the record inflation and rising fuel/grocery prices, that’s how the general public gauges the economy.

If new cases and deaths stay reasonable this winter, in March we should remove all Federal level mask and vaccine requirements.

Leave it up to state and local government, school boards, organizational management, etc., to recommend or require anti-infection measures.

With the vaccines being available, including the boosters, people have the ability to protect themselves, regardless of what others do.
