Since Biden was elected, the media talks about how all of the special elections are bellwether for

the midterms. So far each time the democratic candidate has won, they move on to the next special election, dragging out those same tired talking points. Only for the election results to prove them wrong time and time again.

is to fill airtime between ads for drugs we never knew we needed. It is at best infotainment which on occasion brushes up against journalism, but that is a very rare occurrence.

When McAuliffe stomps Youngkin (with votes!) tomorrow, all the doom-and-gloom will vanish into the ether, and all the wise folks on the teevee will move on to the next prospective catastrophe for all Democrats everywhere. Hey, I hear lots of good things about Ron DeSantis down in Florida, despite the fact that he's killing people by the thousands in his state with his feckless response to the pandemic. He's resolute!

bad for Democrats. She was obliterated on twitter. Today Gloria Borger said on CNN that even if Dems win Virginia it is still bad for Democrats. Don't you get it? Everything is bad for Democrats. It's so much easier when you understand that.

apparently you also create mass-psychosis. When I think of what Fox has accomplished, it's astonishing. The rest of them may be a little less brazen, but do their part to stoke the fire, and add-on to the wreckage. Look out when they all get on the same page.

We are therefore always subject to a media driven drama hit. It's wearing.
