(6,342 posts)It's why America loses no matter what. We will have deadlock no matter who wins. The political forces in this country are becoming increasingly polarized. Each side hates each other with a burning passion.
George Washington was right when he said political parties will be what causes our downfall...
If Obama is re-elected, do you really feel he'll get anything accomplished? Just like if Romney wins, we will all be rooting for Harry Reid to block everything. Just like the GOP House will block everything Obama wants.
In the end, the people lose either way.

(33,310 posts)democratic legislators have always compromised for the greater good, or political survival. in a romney presidency, they'll continue to be responsible, trying to pass budgets, etc., instead of burning the place down like a teabagger.
we're in a new era of total GOP obstruction, and both sides are not equally responsible.
