I know the debate is foreign policy, but outsourcing + supporting horrific sweat shops (aka Romney & Bain) is a fair subject for Monday's debate yes?
Of course, great to mention 170 workers at their Ill plant will be jobless when it's all shipped to China this December.
On edit: added link which explains conditions at Sensata

(4,186 posts)I think all Romney's comments about "being tough on China" have greased the skids for this topic ..

(13,227 posts)One line from Romney last Tuesday slipped under the radar. It was his Bain response to a question that wasn't really asked. Romney claims that his Bain holdings have been in a trust for eight years, and he has no authority there anymore. Now, if Team Obama found out anything recently to counter that, yeah, it could be used.
But let's face it, Obama's foreign policy has gotten very high marks. Romney has showed himself to be a doofus in that regard.

(48,955 posts)'when Governor Romney speaks of getting tough on China, just what policies would he promote to prevent businesses from moving US operations to China? Or to prevent bringing those future Chinese factory workers to the US to be trained by the US workers who are losing their jobs?".... Don't even have to say the companies name. Just let it dangle and watch Romney go rude ballistic again.
