It is a shame that Mitt's Non-Released tax returns were not a bigger issue!

He got away with it. Scott free.

I think the Obama Campaign should of had some underlings keep up the pressure on the tax release!

I think backing off hurt us.

Mr. President should be able to worm it in some way. It's a foreign policy debate right?

"So, Mitt, is it your Romnesia that causes you to forget to produce your taxes or are you simply telling America their desire to see that a candidate for President actually DOES follow the rules and pay his fair share isn't really important to you?

We want to understand. We'd be happy to help you.

I have always said this is a sleepy issue, most people don't care about the minutia of tax returns. Its not exactly the most exciting subject in the world. Yea, so Mitt is a mega-rich dude and has a big team of experts to take advantage of every loop hole possible, meh, most people know this is what they do at the top. It's the same with the pet dog in dog container on car roof obsession that DU has, no one else really cares or thinks this is some kind of monumental issue.

ad infinitum.

But you're right.
People hate a cheat and a sneak on a very base level.
Sadly, that's where we needed to go.

would you have us still concentrating on taxes... we would have breezed right by the 47% scenario that fell right in our lap...

i do agree with you however: he should never have been able to just sit out the issue.. and of course there's still time for the issue to pop up if something big is revealed..

i agree with you too in the larger historical context.. to let him get away with such a cheap shot, lowers the bar for the next liar in chief to run..

This is Dem Senators' fault. Harry Reid can still bring it back. When I mentioned what you said, even DU folks are also non-responsive. I do not know. Yes, this is hurting us.

This story is about to grow a new set of legs. The reason we are not seeing his tax returns is because he made $115 Million from the auto bailout. Being the clever thief that he believes himself to be, he actually had them make out the check in his wife's name. Here is the link.
