3. Double vaxxed now

He was diagnosed with lymphoma in October 2020. The chemo made him weak and vulnerable to infection.

7. Love the guy.

First watched him as a kid on Seahunt with his dad and Beau. I had a crush.

9. From time to time.

38 years before The Big Lebowski, Jeff Bridges (credited at the time as Jeffrey Bridges) was just a little dude getting his acting career started on his dad Lloyd’s TV show Sea Hunt (1960)

10. Grew up watching Sea Hunt, even though it mostly wasn't at sea and not that much hunting.

Still a staple of my impressionable youth in Central Florida.

16. It was the greatest. I wrote a long story about it, maybe I can find it, for real it was "not a

cellphone in sight, just people living in the moment"
Uncrowded, lots of still undisturbed nature, I loved every minute of it.
Then we moved to Chicago, which was a shock, but opened up whole new worlds for me!

14. I didn't grow up in Florida, but I did grow up watching this show and loving it.

The ocean and scuba diving were pretty exotic things to me back then, totally outside my landlubber existence, and that made the show especially fascinating.

17. Lloyd Bridges II (of Sea Hunt) father (the original Lloyd Bridges) was a real estate investor

in the north coast California and also owned the Vance Hotel in Eureka (county seat of Humboldt county).

Here is an interesting story about a building developed by Lloyd Bridges and named for his Sea Hunt son, Lloyd Bridges II, the actor.
