Raygun was poison
every bit of this selfishness we see in today's society is directly attributable to this asswipe.

1. 1968.
If Bobby Kennedy had become president, most of this garbage would not be happening. Nixon and Raygun were very damaging to this country.
Reagan took the racist coalition that Nixon built and amplified it. |

2. I agree. I vividly remember the division he created at my workplace. The origin
of the divide we now have in America. The White People's Party was not born with Reagan but he gave it a dose of anabolic steroids.

4. He did and what really helped pave the way was
Nixon got away with his crimes (sabatoging the Paris peace talks being the most seriousl
Reagan & Bush 1 got away with theirs, as did Junior. All "for the good of the country". If Trump gets away with his crimes the next Republican president will be even worse. |

7. He was my first Presidential vote
.. and I voted AGAINST him, in part because of his insane applause line ".. government IS the problem". I thought that anyone who bought that b.s. had to be either stupid or corrupt.
He might as well have said "And I want to be in charge of tearing this whole place down." What fool would vote for him, I thought? Silly me... |

8. Reagan was the useful fool of his day for all his reTHUG enablers and
supporters. Just like TFG in these days. Let's be sure not to give any of them a pass.

air traffic controllers. Hated that, “well” EVERY damn time he would answer a question...... “well”. 🤬 🤬 🤬 totally despised him.

10. Most of the problems we are facing in America today are the result of Reagan's policies
His neo-liberal agenda and all the tax cutting and deregulation he did created the economic inequality we are seeing today. Both Bush's, Clinton, and even Obama kept much of his philosophy in place (for the most part). Most politicians are afraid to say that they are liberal and that we need bigger government. Contrast that with Republicans who fall all over themselves saying that they are the most conservative politician around. ("I am a true conservative."
