538 CA recall poll averages(keep +1.2)

Keep 48.8
Remove 47.6

Although it is starting to look like the polls favoring remove are becoming more of an outlier.

1. Does "keep" have to get over 50 percent?

2. Yes

50.1% No vote is whatís needed to keep Newsom as Gov.

4. Yes. According

To a constitutional lawyer on the Thom Hartmann show this morning, anything less will show that more people wanted him gone and the one with this most votes on question two, becomes governor. Not fair, which begs the question, why hasnít a suit been filed? Filing suit after the election will go nowhere. He has to get 50.1 percent or better.

5. There are only two options on the ballot so barring a tie, something will be over 50%

Donít know or unsure is accounting for a small percentage in polls but thatís not an option on the actual ballots.

6. The state sure needs to fix that recall law. Only 12%...

of the electorate needs to sign petitions to get a recall going whereas in other states it's 25%.

If the repugs are successful in this recall, it won't hurt us too badly as there will be a normao gubernatorial election in '22 and a Dem will more than likely win it...that is if Feinstein doesn't pass in the meantime.
