'We Act Radio' Progressive talk is back in the DC area (mostly N.Va. and S.Md.)

I learned about this station listening to Stephanie Miller the week before Christmas, when David Shuster was on (probably on the Wednesday before Xmas?) Anyway this is on WPWC-AM 1480 replacing a Spanish language station. This station plays Bill Press, Miller (the first 2 hours), Thom Hartmann, and many local programs live. However, its signal is weaker in DC proper but stronger in the southern suburbs:

and there's a live stream of this station: http://server3.whiterosesociety.org:8000/ProgressiveDC.

the commercial-free video stream of Thom Hartmann (w/bonus calls during the :15 and :45 breaks) is at http://livestream.com/thomhartmann

similarly, WVKO 1580 in Columbus brought back progressive talk to that area for the first time since...2006? An interesting turn in events, as Green 960 in San Francisco converted to general talk, pushing Thom, Stephanie, and Mike Malloy to evenings to make room for Glenn Beck and Dave Ramsey.

Of course, Rush comes in loud and clear, here in one of Maryland's strongest Red holdouts. We can't even get certain DC NPR stations clearly anymore, since they've been crowded out by local Christian evangelism stations.

I'll look for WPWC tomorrow on the radio. Thanks!

We're still losing airplay every chance they get.
(Still smarting after the pogrom of 2007-2008, when partisan deep pockets snuffed out so many little stations that must have annoyed the REPtilian juggernaut)
Thanks, alp.
