Former president Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he spoke with the mother and husband of Ashli Babbitt, whom police killed during the 6 January riot that, and said he knew the identify of the officer who fatally shot Ms Babbitt as she was trying to enter a restricted area of the Capitol.

Ms Babbit was killed by an officer during the insurrection led by Mr Trump’s supporters.

The Former President and Members of Congress are trying to out him. Once they do, he will live the rest of his life under the threat of violence. They are painting a target on his back.

He made a very difficult decision to take a life. It is not an easy decision but he took an oath and part of his responsibility under that oath was to protect Members of Congress.

The Members of Congress were clearly in harms way and he acted to protect them. He now has to live with the consequences of his action. He has to live with the taking of a human life. Please say a prayer, send good karma or Juju, spare a thought. He is living under a lot of pressure.

It is not an easy decision to take a life even when you are justified in doing it.
