Gov. Kristi Noem is capturing the financial windfall of Sturgis for her state (and her presidential creds) while EXPORTING the medical, financial and death costs of this COVID super-spreading event to evey other state in the nation.

It was the perfect storm of super spreader events.
This year will probably be worse.

Also, all the people who in that area will get it, too. And they are vaxxed either.

(6,390 posts)But yeah, the tourists will go back to their home states. As will many of the transit workers. Watched a Doc on the event, a lot of temp employee's come up for the windfall in tips. Some take time off from there current bar job, etc....and to go back to it.
