Honest customer service recording:

Greetings! Your call is not very important to us, or we would have had a person take it. We know that you want something, but we don’t really care, so we have designed a system of progressive menus that will not provide you with the option that you need and in the end, will circle back to this message in the hope that you will get frustrated and just hang up. If you want "customer service" call a prostitute.

Whenever I get one that says calls are being reported I make sure to give them an earful about their voice mail hell.

we would have coughed up minimum wage to pay someone to answer it, or at least outsourced it to India so we could pay only a small fraction of minimum wage. Either way, the customer service reps will be too disempowered to help you and are incentivized to do nothing for you without subjecting you to an aggressive up-sell to our more expensive tier of (non) service.
