And his victims were the American People.
I agree completely.
Should the rest of the media go there?

(14,177 posts)Not sure about the "war" part, unless it's a metaphor.
Bush/Cheney are war criminals, untouched by accountability for their crimes.

(85,978 posts)Thanks, monkeyman1 and GoodRaisin!!
Why couldnt I have guessed that one? And its fitting as can be. Especially when it refers to a self-absorbed adult-size three-year-old who lives only to hear his name repeated one everyones lips, and see it plastered all over everywhere in public, spelled out in oversized gold-colored letters.
Thats one of the worst insults you can hurl at him. To ignore and never use or invoke his fucking name.
TFG. Emphasis on the F - for a few reasons!

(49,992 posts)You can expect a drumbeat of these types of characterizations as the American people awaken to exactly what went on, and why.
But we have to make the connections, and make the case.

(8,346 posts)They repeat each other or soundbite their way through what once was news and information. They don't ask follow-up questions nor do they appear to do any research beyond the latest headlines.
They were raised on what we used to call gossip and innuendo, which they now glibly report as if it were revelatory information.
Yes, I know they're in the business of selling beer, soap, groceries, insurance and anything else they can package.
We need a new standard and should demand better from them as we indeed need to do from too many of our own in Congress.

(1,902 posts)... though I would myself not use that label, in respect for the way larger suffering in other countries. But TFG used his military power way more bloody actively than the media showed, eagerly continuing the endless wars:
- The U.S. Never Dropped As Many Bombs On Afghanistan As It Did In 2018.
