"Not Just Women's Issues"

I heard this sentiment and belief about the importance of a focus on 'womens issues' echoed yesterday by another Democrat in another debate -- almost word for word . . .

President Obama, last night:

____ These are not just women’s issues. These are family issues. These are economic issues. And one of the things that makes us grow as an economy is when everybody participates and women are getting the same fair deal as men are . . .


Ms. Crowley: Mr. President —


President Obama . . . And I’ve got two daughters, and I want to make sure that they have the same opportunities that anybody’s sons have. That’s part of what I’m fighting for as president of the United States.
