Friends and family do not understand my attraction to men who are smart but not necessarily physically attractive. I have always been turned on by brainy guys, the caveat being that they must also have a good sense of humor.

Repartee is the best foreplay in my opinion.

It could be a man who can only love a man or woman who knows everything about working on cars, or about a form of gardening. The attraction is intellectual, or artistic, or anything else where a person can become highly learned in, it doesn’t have to be classic book learning or have anything to do with economic or class standing.

My experience is that both men and women who garden tend to be more analytical and aren’t disposed to hot button reaction.

There are also demisexual people in that spectrum (they need to make an emotional connection with a person before they will even consider having sex with that person). Governor Cuomo’s 23 year old daughter recently announced that she was bisexual and demisexual.
