How does George W.* feel about being thrown under Mitt's bus??!!

Wow. Mitt ran away from the comparison to George W.! He even had points ready in advance about how he's not at all like George! Five elaborate points, including the fact that Bush ran up the deficit, shamelessly!

That was sooooo cool.

How does it feel, W? Gonna sic your mama on Mitt now?

He never really gave a rat's ass if he was popular or not. Of course, when defying the peoples' will, it usually helps if the people are wrong and you are right, not the other way around.

this wasn't some slip up or an "oh crap, do i really have to throw a fellow republican under the bus" moment.

this was his plan. he was happy to answer. he might have even been hoping the question would come up.

it is telling that he didn't defend him, didn't blame democrats in congress or 9/11, didn't try to say the economy would have been even worse if not for republican policies, yadda, yadda, crap.

no, he was eager to throw shrub under the bus.

thank you, rmoney, for further tarnishing the republican brand and reminding undecided and apathetics just how much loathing and contempt and disgust we should have for the republican party.

Romney essentially said that Bush was a lousy president; Obama said he inherited a mess from Bush.

Thanks for the assist, Mitt!
