How miserable are people here going to be with tomorrow's indictment?

I can imagine.....

"It's too small a charge"

"It should have happened sooner"

"Why isn't the Letitia James or Merrick Garland doing something"

"Why wasn't Trump indicted personally"

12. I recognize that the likelihood of W or even t doing the perpwalk...in chains...

is very, very slim.

But I can dream, can't I?

I'm so goddam naive that I still believe that Justice should prevail.

There will be a great deal of wailing, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments...

Most will consider it a start, and far from the end of the matter.

I think most of us like to whine but are smart enough to understand what is going on and will wait until the last shoe drops before going nutty.

9. Once Weiselberg figures out what he's in for

he'll flip leading to a superseding indictment including TFG. They find Jesus on the cocourthouse steps

16. If he had something on trump, he'd flip before being indicted.

Cohenís last attempt to avoid jail by spilling everything was simply calling trump a cad, racist, and Ahole. That ainít enough to indict/convict, unfortunately.

35. Could be. Again, flipping assumes he has something significant enough

to take trump down. Thatís questionable.

Iím sure he has things to tell, same as Cohen spilled that trump is a cad, racist, unethical POS, and probably worse. We all know that, and that wonít get him convicted.

13. The indictments dropping tomorro are the first baby step in a long march

Some people might skate, crooks have a habit of staying a nanometer on the right side of the law while violating its spirit. However, what this does is to tighten the screws on everybody involved in that organization. It looks like Junior is already close to cracking. Weisselberg looks like he's got a long way to go, he's a tough old buzzard.

Bankruptcies
Frauds
Two impeachments
January 6th
COVID
One term
His legacy is set.

24. Let us not forget another legacy: His Failure to prevent the deaths of 600,000 Americans..

...And he knew about the problem and the extent of what would happen before any of us................

...AND..........DONALD TRUMP DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, and.. HE CALLED IT A ...HOAX...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, he neglected this problem for a very long time after he found out about it.....Maybe he will get some jail time...

maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe.....anything is possible...Thank You for Your Post and Your Work at DU...

Thank You Again,

19. I lived through Watergate...

It took years, but lots of biggies were indicted...
including the VP, the AG, several WH and GOP counsels, the WH chief of staff, and literally dozens of others. Most of them served time.

(Not the VP-- his was a "trivial" bribery guilty plea. And of course not Nixon, because he was pardoned... but no one is going to pardon Trump.)

Trump might not live long enough to be indicted, of course.

And the structural engineering expert threads. One of the worst things about DU are the self assured experts completely devoid of any kind of verifiable credentials, yet write as though they have some special insight.
